Along with your salary, all airlines offer benefits that add real value to your job. Here is a look at some of the most common perks:

Discounted and free flights - sometimes this includes family members too, which is great for travel on your days off.

Discounts with partner companies - airlines often partner with hotels, gyms, and other businesses to give you discounts.

Health insurance - covering basic medical, dental, and vision care.

Per diems for layovers - you will usually get a daily allowance or have your food and accommodation covered.

Retirement plans - often with matched contributions to help you save for the future.

Paid leave - including annual leave and sick days. Some airlines also offer parental leave.

Life insurance - often covering accidental death and dismemberment too.

Training and development - to help you move up in your career, including courses on leadership or specialist cabin crew roles.

Uniform allowance - plus cleaning services or reimbursement for upkeep.

Which benefits have been the most useful to you?

ID 90 is probably everyone's favourite one. You basically get 90% discount on your flight.

You get ID 90 only with big airlines. You won't get it with small / budget airlines.

And the only issue with ID90 is that most of the time you'll be on standby which means you will fly only if there's an empty seat.

So forget about cheap flights in June, July, August..
