On 7th February 2023, Flair Airlines F82615 experienced a cabin pressurization problem while flying from Cancun, Mexico to Toronto, Canada.
As per available information, the flight was cruising at an altitude of 37,000 feet when the crew detected a decrease in cabin pressure. Passengers reported that oxygen masks dropped, and the crew made a PA announcement asking them to prepare for an abrupt descent. The plane then rapidly descended and made an emergency landing at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport, Florida, United States.
After landing, all passengers and crew were safely evacuated from the aircraft without any reported injuries. They were taken to the terminal for further assistance.
The cause of the cabin pressurization issue is under investigation, and both the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have been notified of the incident. Both organisations are working together to gather more information and determine the root cause.
