What are you going to do?

 

As a Quality Engineer at AFKL, you work on innovative and complex programs in an Agile or Waterfall environment. You provide technical support to the testers and test automation experts in teams and projects. You get energy from creating and implementing technical solutions such as a test automation framework, a CI/CD Pipeline, IT infrastructures etc. Quality is very important to you, and you actively propagate this to your environment and colleagues.

You’re capable of advising developers on quality and testing from a developer’s perspective. You are a sparring partner and interact with the teams. Additionally, you have regular contact/conversations with architects, project managers, test automation engineers and RTE’s. Together with these stakeholders, you deal with technical issues at train and team level.

 

Your profile

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or related field
  • 5+ years of working experience as a Test Engineer
  • Experience with Test Analysis/Specification
  • Relevant coding languages like Java, C#, Angular
  • Experience with concepts such as BDD, TDD, Continues Delivery
  • Delivery pipelines and tooling like Bamboo, Git, Docker/Kubernetes
  • Experience with various test automation tools & frameworks like Cucumber, Selenium, SoapUI, ALM, UFT, Protractor, Postman, Codeceptjs etc
  • Awareness of the latest trends in testing
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Proactive with an independent work attitude
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Strong in motivating others

 

Tasks & activities

 

  • Guiding Agile or project teams on quality
  • Setting up delivery pipelines
  • Define test automation frameworks
  • Setting up test environments
  • Advising on architectural choices and implementations
  • Advising and guiding developers with regards to quality aspects
  • Organizing/hosting quality communities
  • Select/implement/support test tooling
