Turkish Airlines, known for its award-winning cuisine and hospitality, has announced the return of its exceptional in-flight chef service.

Starting on May 1, 2021, Business Class passengers on long-haul flights of eight hours or more once again are able to enjoy delicious food prepared by the airline’s skilled Chefs, providing the feeling of dining at a fine restaurant.

Flying Chefs are responsible for greeting passengers, taking meal orders, cooking and supervising food preparation. Turkish Airlines’ high quality meals served by the Flying Chefs have already won numerous awards, including the title of the “World’s Best In-flight Catering Service” on several occasions.

As Turkish Airlines’ Chairman of the Board, M. Ilker Ayci, explains the decision to bring back chefs:

“Throughout the past year, we’ve had to make many adjustments to our product and service offerings to protect the health and safety of our passengers and employees. Our award-winning dining service and Flying Chefs program is a distinguishing aspect of the airline and we are happy to reintroduce this our worldwide guests to make the flight experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.”

With the resumption of its premium onboard dining and hot meal service on all Business and Economy Class flights longer than two hours 15 minutes flight time, and Flying Chefs service for flights eight hours or longer, Turkish Airlines continues its commitment to a premium travel experience.
