Virgin Atlantic is offering eight single Americans the opportunity to fly first-class to London to try their luck at love on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.
Called Tickets to Love, the airline’s new Valentine’s Day sweepstakes is open for submissions through February 13.
The contest includes a first-class flight, a glass of champagne upon boarding, delicious 3-course-meal service, and a chance to meet other travelers in The Loft social space of the cabin, before enjoying a one-night stay at The Standard London hotel.
According to research by Virgin Atlantic, 69% of single Americans are open to finding love while travelling – and 64% say that they are interested in meeting a Brit because “they find British people more cultured, stylish and well-mannered than Americans”.
The trip starts in the Virgin Atlantic Airways Clubhouse at JFK, where winners will enjoy premium food and drink options. TV star and dating expert Jared Haibon (The Bachelorette and The Bachelor) will be on hand via video to provide expert advice on finding a match. For further insight, each winner will have a personal love reading from a psychic.
To enter the contest, interested participants can pitch their story explaining why they deserve a trip to the U.K. to find long-term love and what kind of romance they’re looking for this spring.
The deadline for submissions is Feb. 13.
